For our 2nd day in Caramoan, we continued our island-hopping by stopping-by in Cotivas Island.
Cotivas Island is an hour trip by boat from Caramoan proper. And according to our tour guide this island is the farthest among the other beautiful islands/islets of Caramoan. Actually I didn’t expect much about it because what I’m more excited about is the Manlawi Sandbar which we will be visiting next, but in my surprise this place really amazed me.
During our trip going to this island, there are also limestone formations which greeted us with its usual natural beauty. And the water also makes me wanna jump!!! It’s really a sight for the eyes! Truly nature’s wonder! 🙂
Unlike Matukad Island, Cotivas has a long stretch of white sand, and with coconut trees lining up adding a more tropical island touch….
The sand here is not as soft as the one in Matukad, but the view here is simply amazing. I was really amazed on how the coconut trees lined up in the island while on the tip of the island, there’s no trees only sand and beach! You can swim in either center, left or right —If only I can explain this better… forgive me, just let the photos speak for itself.
By the way, in the picture above, you can see the tip of the island, where you can swim in either side left or right or even in the middle…
Here, you can also find some shells, and they are really beautiful… (refer to the jump show pic) And there’s no sign of development in the area.. No hotels.. no whatsoever… Only beach and sand… Only you and nature!
Just look at our pictures…as you can see we have the whole island exclusively for us 🙂
I have no more words to say… I’m just speechless… and I’m scared that whatever I say will just be an understatement. I’ll let you judge its beauty from your own eyes. Look at the pictures
This is one of the best islands in Caramoan. I hope you can also visit this place.
